About Veronica Hopkins, LCSW, PMH-C

Hi, I am so glad you are here! I’m Veronica Hopkins.  I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, private practice owner, and a mom who wants to empower women to have the life they dream of and deserve.

I have a deep interest and commitment to helping women navigate anxiety and the challenges that they face within their lives.  I have been providing individual therapy to women for many years; however, once I became a mother my passion continued to grow to help women along their journeys with building their families.  I want to be apart of the mission to provide more holistic support for women’s mental health.  My goal is to equip women with tools that allow them to feel successful in whatever period of life they find themselves.

When I became pregnant with my first child it became even clearer to me the dire need for more comprehensive perinatal mental health services.  I first hand experienced the challenges in finding high quality therapeutic care and supports for my journey into motherhood.  Everyone’s journey is unique and finding specialized support is crucial.  I bring passion, clinical expertise, and my own personal experiences to my work.

I received my Masters in Social work from Columbia University in 2013 on the advanced clinical track with a specialty in health, mental health and disabilities. I have been working in the field since receiving my degree and have many years experience providing trauma informed care.  I specialize in treating individuals who are struggling with anxiety and have a certification in Perinatal Mental Health. My approach to therapy is collaborative, client-centered, and empathetic.  In my clinical practice I integrate a number of evidence-based treatment modalities and strive to make intentional decisions to collaboratively tailor an individualized plan to best meet your needs.
